Monday Every Monday during term time, the Rainbows meet at 4:30 pm in the Church Hall for girls between the ages of 5 and 7 years old. There is a wide range of activities and games. Being a Rainbow is all about learning, developing self-confidence, building friendship and, of course, having lots of fun. The Brownies meet every Monday during term time at 6:30 pm in the Church Hall, for girls aged 8 to 10 years old. Girls can participate in a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, cooking, playing enrgetic games and taking part in community action. It’s not just having fun; it’s learning, making friends and becoming secure in each one’s place in the community. The Tynemouth Amateur Operatic Society have made the church their home base. Producing 2 shows a year of a very high standard, requires a lot of dedication and a lot of practice. The Operatic Society usually meet on a Monday evening at 7:30pm. As shows get closer, this increases to include Friday evenings as well and then even Wednesdays too.
